Gantheaume Point is a promontory about 6 kilometers from Broome, Western Australia. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its red sandstone cliffs, turquoise waters, and dinosaur footprints. The footprints are over 130 million years old and are some of the best preserved in the world. They can be seen at low tide, but there are also plaster casts of the footprints on display at the top of the cliff.
In addition to the dinosaur footprints, Gantheaume Point also offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean and Cable Beach. There is a lighthouse on the point, which was built in 1905. The area is also a popular spot for fishing, kayaking, and whale watching.
